Julie

We close out February paying tribute to the young, single mom who wandered in the door 20 years ago and applied for a job. Her then 5-year-old daughter was the same age as my youngest son, and an immediate friendship was formed. We grew together just as our children grew together from summer camp to sharing babysitting duties while the other worked, along with milestone moments like graduations & weddings.

As an employee, Julie has helped in almost every position, short of cooking. (She is still here, so there is still time for that) She is quick to befriend new employees and take them under her wing while showing them the right way to do things around the Mug.  She has a steadfast following of regular customers who voice their objections if she’s off on a Friday night and she will always go the extra mile for any of us here at the Mug, whether it’s work-related or a personal struggle.

Together we have seen many ups and downs, changes in the industry and our own lives and I am so glad that she is a part of our Erv’s family as well as my close friend. Cheers, Julie & here’s to 20 more!!
